About the YouTube short size
YouTube Shorts are 1080 by 1920 pixels, full-screen 9:16 vertical, the same frame as Reels and TikTok. That means one vertical export can be posted across all three platforms. As with the others, YouTube lays its interface over the video: the title, channel name, description and the like and comment buttons sit along the bottom and right, so keep your captions and key action out of the bottom third and clear of the right edge.
